Sunday golf walking stick with brown stained wooden putter head. Black insert face with white and black center discs. The putter head is attached to a white and black ring and stained wood shaft with a brass ferrule. Total length 86 cm.
Around 1900 it was illegal to play golf on Sundays in England. The Sunday Golf Sticks are from this period. It is said that when no one was looking, golfers had a lot of fun swinging with sticks on Sundays.
